Ginger acquires German LEHMANN +PARTNER

The Ginger Group, French leader in prescription engineering, announced on Tuesday (April 25th) the acquisition of LEHMANN+PARTNER, German leader in road and urban infrastructure engineering.

LEHMANN+PARTNER has a turnover of EUR 8 million and employs 120 in Germany and Poland. Their focus is on value-added data collection to provide managers and communities with accurate pricing and planning programs for their road works. These measures are available for detailed census and location of all urban property (road and traffic signs, garbage cans, benches, traffic lights, etc.).

For data collection, LEHMANN+PARTNER develops, operates and markets a range of innovative vehicles with the latest laser remote sensing (LiDAR) and imaging technologies. The precision of these sensors are why major players in the automotive industry call upon LEHMANN+PARTNER to evaluate their test tracks.

With this acquisition, Ginger complements their expertise in infrastructure and roads sector, where they were already involved in auscultation, testing and laboratory analysis. The group is acquiring new skills and one of the most efficient technologies in Europe.

After the April 2016 integration of BURGEAP, environmental engineering specialist Ginger has continued to expand. With their goal of 200 million euros in turnover by 2020, the Group continues with its strategy of focusing on prescription engineering.

Ginger is speeding up expansion of their international network by getting a foothold in Germany and Poland. LEHMANN +PARTNER’s know-how and state-of-the-art equipment are in demand in Europe as well as in the United States and Asia.
