Ginger DELEO, signatory of the Metropolitan Charter for Circular Construction

The Ginger group is strongly and operationally committed to circular construction by participating in the Grand Paris Circulaire workshops. Ginger DELEO signed on Monday 26 September the Metropolitan Charter for Circular Construction intended to unite the actors of the construction sector in the strive for sobriety and urban renewal. Construction accounts for almost 40% of the materials consumed and 75% of the waste generated on a metropolitan scale. The Metropolitan Charter for Circular Construction aims to unite all stakeholders in the construction and renovation value chain around objectives and a common vision of the transition to the circular economy. The commitments of the Charter were the subject of an extensive consultation conducted between October 2021 and March 2022, which brought together more than 50 actors, including Ginger, representative of the construction value chain within the metropolitan territory. A first version of the Community Solutions Catalogue is also available with the goal to:
• Construct an argument to encourage a circular economy approach.
• Identify how to integrate the circular economy into each phase of the project.
• Deploy a global and replicable method by activating the right levers at the right time.
