The Ginger Group is present in Kenya and Eastern and Southern Africa through its subsidiary Ginger SOFRECO, which started its operations in Africa in 1976. In 2019, it set up a regional coordination office dedicated to these two regions; initially based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the office moved to Nairobi, Kenya in 2023.   In four decades of almost continuous presence in Eastern and Southern Africa, Ginger SOFRECO and Conseil Santé have completed more than 200 contracts in the sub-region, financed by major international funding agencies and public and private industrial operators, particularly in the sugar sector.

With the establishment of a regional coordination office in Nairobi, Ginger SOFRECO is committed to supporting and sustaining the development of its activities in the regions where the company regularly operates. The Nairobi office promotes the Group’s activities throughout the country, helps to identify opportunities and prepare service proposals, and assists head office in monitoring ongoing operations.
